Solving Marketplace Listing at Scale

A Romanian online home & déco retailer helps customers craft spaces that feel like home. Through its e-commerce platform, it curates furniture and décor pieces that bring comfort, coherence, and style into everyday living.

As the retailer expanded to eMAG, Romania’s leading marketplace, a new layer of complexity emerged. Marketplace listings must follow strict templates, standardized structures, and predefined content rules — all while preserving brand identity and the design value of each product. For a brand with thousands of products, manual listing on eMAG could take weeks per category, making the whole process lengthy and costly. Speed, consistency, and precision were critical to scale efficiently and maintain credibility.

As a member of eMAG’s Seller Partner Network (SPN), Dyver understands how complex and time-consuming marketplace listing can be. By translating eMAG’s rules and templates into structured, repeatable workflows, Dyver turns a manual, error-prone process into a faster, scalable one—helping retailers save time, list products quicker, and unlock revenue sooner.

The Challenge

The retailer receives product data from multiple suppliers, each with its own structure, formats, and conventions. Normally, this data must be cleaned, standardized, and formatted to fit the retailer’s website. Selling on eMAG introduced increased complexity: every category requires its own template, with strict rules for values, names, attributes, and images — meaning the same data has to be restructured all over again to meet marketplace standards.

The Solution

What the Retailer Needed

The retailer approached Dyver with a clear goal: list faster on eMAG . They asked for:

  • Clean, standardized, and transformed ~2,360 products across 36 categories into eMAG-ready templates;
  • Creation of product titles and HTML descriptions in the retailer’s brand voice following eMAG  rules;
  • Extraction and mapping of all required attributes for accurate filtering and comparison;
  • Saving time and reducing manual effort, enabling the team to focus on higher-value tasks;
  • Applying final transformations to ensure compliance, consistency, and readiness for publishing.

The Dyver Approach

Dyver tackled the challenge using an AI-powered, human-in-the-loop workflow that blended automation with control. Key steps included:

  1. Prepare and structure supplier data: Dyver ingested the retailer’s XML feed, split it into over 30 files — one per eMAG  category.
  2. Data Transformation: English text was translated to Romanian, and fields were normalized to align with eMAG ’s strict templates.
  3. Content Generation: Product names and descriptions were automatically written to match MAG ’s rules, incorporating attributes like color, type, dimensions, and weight. Descriptions retained the retailer’s brand voice, SEO optimization, and proper HTML formatting.
  4. Attribute Extraction: Dyver extracted critical product attributes from the input data — including material, structure, table type, number of units, assembling requirements, and more — ensuring every listing met eMAG ’s requirements.
  5. Advanced Field Mapping: Modified fields were further refined with deterministic rules to ensure consistency for dimensions, quantities, and other standardized attributes.

The result: a fully marketplace-ready category template — all in a matter of hours.

The Outcome

With Dyver, the home & déco retailer transformed a process that once took weeks into a streamlined workflow completed in just 24 hours per category. Key benefits included:

  • Speed: Categories ready for eMAG  in a single day.
  • Efficiency: Reduced manual work and operational overhead.
  • Consistency & Compliance: Listings fully aligned with eMAG  templates, preserving brand identity and integrity.
  • Scalability: A repeatable system for future product additions, enabling faster marketplace growth.

From fragmented supplier feeds → structured marketplace templates → listings ready in hours, not weeks.
